It is with much excitement and pride that I begin my second year as the President of the Fire Brigade Pipes and Drums of Greater Baltimore.  I look back on our 4 full years of existence and see just how far we have come.  Since our first job at the Glyndon United Methodist Church, in front of approximately 40, to the most recent job, a NASCAR event in front tens of thousands of people, we have grown in leaps and bounds as far as membership, musicality and presence.  In 2007 we performed at 47 events, and we continue to be in high demand around the fire service and Irish communities of the Greater Baltimore area.  It also bears mentioning that our first job at Glyndon consisted of 3 pipers and 2 drummers, and we now have over 30 members, including students.
